On April 18th, 2018 at 5:30 PM, Rush held its annual Spring Visual Art Exhibition and Film Festival showcasing the artistic and creative talent of all our Art majors. From portrait photography to still life illustrations, the school was adorned with artwork across every wall and intersection. Colorful paintings and handcrafted clay pieces drew the eye from every direction. At 6:30 PM, the annual Film Festival opened with video self-portraits; these were short works (about 5 minutes each) that were an alternative take on the traditional still image self-portrait. Following that was a short film selection containing pieces by student filmmakers that showcased the filmography projects they have been shooting and editing for the last couple months. The Spring Visual Arts Exhibition and Film Festival was a big night for all our Visual, Graphic, and Media majors, allowing them the opportunity to display their best work before the school year closes.
